My dog Ziggy was referred for an ultrasound which confirmed that he had cancer that had spread. He still had a few weeks to go without suffering. One night I knew he was struggling. It was 1AM I took Ziggy down to Phoenix Emergency Center. They were wonderful giving us a private room time to say goodbye and gently put him to sleep with his head in my lap on the floor. They sent me a sympathy card with the names of the staff written on it. This type of kindness is so missing in this day and I so appreciated it.
